¢º Demographical data verification

The respondent¡¯s original demographic profile, particularly their gender and age, are compared with their answers to the demographic questions at the screening questions prior to main survey.
If they and original panel information do not match, the data automatically counts as a data error, and the sample will be discarded. In addition, the respondent¡¯s identification needs to be verified again.

 

 
¢º Response consistency check

The same question is asked at the beginning and end of the survey to verify logical consistency.
Response of those who answered both the questions differently will be discarded.

 

 
¢º Filtering out Internet searched respondents

Sometimes a respondent browses the internet to find a suitable response to the most difficult survey question.
Embrain has a monitoring technology to find out their untruthful activities.

 

 
¢º Interview Time Check

As a result of correlation analysis, 3% of respondents who responded in the shortest time has shown a big difference from the rest respondents group in their response quality. So Embrain uses 95% of collected data excluding bottom 5%, the shortest time in LOI.
